I’m a Deaf, disabled artist, queer creator, and unapologetic nerd with a deep love for storytelling in all its forms, whether through literature, comics, or manga. I’ve spent a lifetime watching the media misrepresent, misunderstand, and completely ignore people like me.

The portrayals of Deaf characters I’ve seen are often filled with stereotypes and harmful assumptions that are far removed from the rich, diverse, and complex reality of the Deaf community I know and love.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to tell authentic stories from a real Deaf perspective and help Authors achieve the same goal. Stories and characters that reflect the depth, and resilience of our lives.

I create to reclaim the narrative, to challenge the status quo, and to offer others the representation I never saw growing up. This includes bringing Deaf characters into the worlds of fantasy and science fiction, where we’re so often excluded or erased. Whether it’s Deaf mages using signed spells or interstellar travelers navigating accessibility in the far future. Or right here on planet earth following a middle school student trying to fit in, I believe our stories belong in every genre.
